Bats

Naterrer’s bat in a grotto, Surrey

We do surveys, reports, impact licences and mitigation.

We provide training courses.

We do ecotourism trips.

For planning and development…..

We assess the bat roost potential of buildings, trees and habitats.

We conduct follow up surveys:

• Climbing surveys.

• Endoscope surveys.

• Dusk/dawn vigils.

• Activity surveys (manned and automated).

• Trapping and radiotracking.

Mitigation may involve avoiding impacts such as light pollution, licensed exclusion and roost destruction and provision of new roosts.
